| Please read the following concerning the problems we
have encountered while attempting to deliver your cards.
We have many cards that were undeliverable due to errors in the email address, some of which we have been able to correct but most of which we could not. Many of these also had errors in the sender's address and our forwards of the delivery failure were also returned to us. Until recently we have attempted to forward returned mail messages to the senders but the quantity we have to deal with is now numbering in the hundreds per day. We will keep return messages for 3 days and you may ask us to search for a returned message if the card was not received or simply resend. If notice of the card you sent did not get to the intended recipient we are very sorry, but it was most likely due to an error in the entering of the recipient's email address or the recipient uses America On Line. AOL users may not have enabled their email to receive mail from other than selected users which results in a "user unknown" returned message to us. All card sites have this problem emailing to AOL except those also on AOL. We are one of the few to admit to it because we want you to understand why your card may not be received. If the user receives the notice then they should have no trouble viewing the card. The only problem is in the delivery of the notice that they have a card. For information we received about enabling an AOL mailbox to receive email messages from us please look farther down on this page. If the recipient did receive the notice but for some reason cannot access their card, please notify us immediately and we will assist in every possible way in the retrieval of their card. ****************************************************** The following is information that AOL has sent to us to be able to help our users to get mail through. Please forward this to those wanting to get mail from us if they use America On Line. To set your Mail Controls: Go to Keyword MAIL CONTROLS Click on the "Go to Mail Controls" button Select the screen name whose mail controls you wish to modify Click on the "Edit" button There are several options - Allow all mail - all email to be received except the "Blocked Sites" list in the Preferred Mail. Block all mail - all email will be blocked sent to this address. Allow only email addressess in the list to the right - the member can "Add or Remove" addresses in the list. Email will only be recieved from these addresses. Block email addresses in the list to the right - the member can "Add or Remove" addresses in the list. Email will be received from all addresses except those in this list and the Preferred Mail "Blocked Sites" list. Select either the "Allow only email addresses in the list to the right" or the "Block email addresses in the list to the right". Whichever one best fits the need.
