One Thanksgiving, as I lounged around with the kids following the feast, we devoted tremendous time and resources (about ten minutes) to rewording the song about Rudolph. Much to the chagrin of their mother, this was the result of our efforts:

Randolf the Runny-Nosed Reindeer

Randolf the runny-nosed reindeer (reindeer)
had a very runny nose (like a water fall)
And if you ever saw it (saw it),
You would even say "Eeyuck!"

All of the other reindeer (reindeer)
Used to laugh and call him names (like faucet-nose)
They never let poor Randolf (Randolf)
Join in any reindeer games (like wrestling)

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
Randolf with your runny nose
Won't you use my handkerchief

Then how the reindeer loved him (loved him)
And they shouted out with glee (Wheee!)
Randolf the runny-nosed reindeer (reindeer)
Won't get any more on me!
